Music in the Park Opens June 3
Opening Day of the Music in the Park Series is June 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at 
Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park in San Jose. The summer would be missing something if you didn’t have the popular downtown concert series. You can relax to jazz, rock, pop, reggae and blues, and it’s all free.
All ages are welcome to attend the Music in the Park events, and you can check the schedule for the type of music for the day, and dress accordingly. Reggae music is inspired by the tropics, “Mon”, so dress 
up like you’re in Jamaica. Recreate the Jazz era with corresponding clothing or costumes from Victoria’s Dance and Costume. It’ll add to the festive feeling, and you’ll have more fun.
The Blues have been a part of the Bay area for many years, whether the music comes from talented locals or headline acts from elsewhere in the country. Blues is an American art form in its truest sense, and you’ll enjoy all the other types of music, as well.
